Bungoma County Launches Mentorship Program for 2025 Scholarship Beneficiaries

Bungoma County, through its Department of Education and Vocational Training, has launched a comprehensive mentorship program to support the 2025 scholarship beneficiaries.

According to a circular from Chief Officer Sam Nalwa Wanjala, the initiative is scheduled to run from December 5 to 13, 2024, and will target students across all 45 wards in the county. Beneficiaries are required to attend their assigned venues in full school uniform and bring three report cards from 2024 along with their most recent fee statement.

“This mentorship program aims to inspire and prepare our scholarship recipients by fostering a commitment to their education while instilling essential values for academic and personal growth,” said Wanjala.

Ward administrators have been tasked with notifying students about their nearest mentorship venues to ensure smooth coordination.

This initiative underscores Bungoma County’s dedication to promoting education and providing equitable opportunities for all scholarship beneficiaries. By investing in mentorship, the county seeks to enhance academic standards and empower young learners to build a brighter future.
