Keiyo South MP Gideon Kimaiyo Pledges Educational Sponsorship for Needy Girl with Goats

Keiyo South MP Gideon Kimaiyo has generously offered to sponsor the education of a needy girl who arrived at Queen of Peace Secondary in Marakwet East with two goats in an attempt to secure her Form One admission. The girl and her mother, equipped with minimal belongings, were prepared to substitute school fees with the livestock. Kimaiyo, moved by their situation, pledged to support the girl’s entire four-year education, even though she is not from his constituency. He personally spoke with the school principal, paid the fees, and requested the woman to take the goats back home, expressing hope for their substantial reproduction.
