Fred mogaka
Mr. Fred Mogaka, the principal of Kisii High School, has shocked many by admitting that he has worn the grey and white uniform for the past eight years without missing a beat. Though his decision to wear school attire has elicited conflicting emotions from his friends and students, the mathematics and geography teacher reiterates that he leads as a role model to his staff members to continuously strengthen the student-teacher relationship.
Aside from wearing the uniform, Mr. Fred is well recognized for his efforts to recognize and reward hard-working students. He gives the top three students in each class a lavish dinner at a four-star hotel, known as the principal’s dinner, and he gives the class with the highest test scores a goat.
Recently the principal had given the Form Four student who earned an A in the post-mock exams a plane ticket, according to a post by Watoto Wasome advocate Ndungu Nyoro.

Alex Maina Kariuki
Alex Maina Kariuki is the principal of Friends School Kamusinga in Bungoma county.
He reports to work Monday to Friday wearing the school’s complete uniform, from shirt, to trousers to socks and tie.
Mr Maina explains that his unique way of doing things is for the greater good of the students.
He comes to work every day from Monday through Friday wearing the full school uniform, including shirt, trousers, socks, and tie.
Mr. Maina explains that his distinctive approach to problem-solving serves the interests of the students as a whole.
Wilson Achoko
Wilson Achoko, the principal of Barwesa Secondary School in Baringo County opted to don the school uniform, in a bid to tame the unruly behaviour of students, which he claims, worked.
Achoko stated that when his students burnt down the school in 2020, he was desperate to keep the students in school, and make himself easily approachable.
He now says that he doesn’t regret turning to the school uniform, because the move has helped tame tension and indiscipline cases in the school, and improved interaction among the students and teachers.
Wilson Achoko, the principal of Barwesa Secondary School in Baringo County, chose to wear the school uniform in an effort to control students’ disruptive behavior, and he claims it was successful.
When his students set the school on fire in 2020, according to Achoko, he was desperate to keep them in class and make himself approachable.
He now claims that he does not regret adopting the school uniform because it has enhanced communication between students and teachers and reduced stress and indiscipline instances in the classroom.
