Ministry of Education Launches County-Based Dialogues to Strengthen Competency-Based Education (CBE)

The Ministry of Education is set to launch a seven-day county-based dialogue series aimed at addressing critical issues within the education sector. These discussions will focus on the implementation, progress, and future of Competency-Based Education (CBE) while engaging key education stakeholders.

Objectives of the County-Based Dialogues
The dialogues aim to:
- Assess CBE Implementation – Update stakeholders on the progress and challenges of CBE.
- Public Participation in Senior School Guidelines – Provide a platform for validating the Senior School guidelines.
- Teacher Recruitment & Capacity Building – Inform stakeholders about teacher hiring processes and professional development initiatives.
- Stakeholder Feedback – Gather insights to improve CBE implementation and policy-making.
Expected Outcomes
