TSC Issues First Batch of Teacher Promotion Letters – 2025 Update

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has released the first batch of promotion letters for teachers who successfully participated in the January and February 2025 promotion interviews. The letters have been sent to TSC County Directors’ offices for distribution to the teachers.

Promotion Results and Publication

Despite the release of the promotion letters, TSC has yet to publish the official list of teachers who have been successfully promoted. According to TSC policy, the list of promoted teachers must be publicly available; however, as of March 31, 2025, no such list has been posted on the commission’s website.

Teachers who have been promoted will receive their appointment letters, while those who were unsuccessful will be issued regret letters.

  1. Valid Certificate of Good Conduct (DCI)
  2. Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
  3. Tax Compliance Certificate (KRA)

  5. Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Clearance Certificate
