Delocalized Teachers To Start Getting TSC Transfer Letters Next Week

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is facilitating the transfer of delocalized teachers who have applied to move to different counties or regions. Transfer letters will be issued, and successful applicants can collect them from TSC offices. The goal is to have teachers settled in their new stations by early January, minimizing disruptions as schools are set to reopen on January 8, 2024. The TSC’s transfer policy ensures a balanced distribution of teachers, with replacements and suitable vacancies in both regional and inter-regional transfers. Education CS Mr. Ezekiel Machogu emphasized the TSC’s role in equitable teacher distribution, aligning with constitutional goals for quality education nationwide. Teachers seeking transfers must meet specific criteria, including vacancy availability, the need for replacement, and adherence to TSC transfer policy conditions. The TSC provides an online portal for delocalized teachers to track the status of their transfer applications, categorized as “Pending,” “Acknowledged,” “Not Approved,” or “Approved.” Once approved, teachers can obtain their transfer letters through the Principal or County Director, depending on the institution.
