The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations for 2023 have been successfully marked at various centers, following the schedule set by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC). As per the official timetable, students can expect to receive their results in the upcoming week.
A reliable source suggests that the KCSE 2023 results are likely to be released on either Thursday or Friday next week. The conclusion of the marking process on Friday marked the end of an intensive evaluation conducted by examiners for all the papers.
This year, a total of 903,260 individuals were eligible to take the KCSE exams, which commenced with project implementation from January to July 2023. Subsequently, from October 23 to November 24, 2023, oral, practical, and theoretical papers were administered in place of projects.
Key figures such as Directors of Education, Subject teachers, Center Managers, and KNEC representatives played crucial roles in overseeing the various aspects of the KCSE initiatives. The administration of oral, practical, and theoretical exams was carried out by center managers, supervisors, invigilators, quality assurance officers, directors of education, and KNEC representatives.
The marking period for the 2023 KCSE tests spanned from November 27 to December 11, 2023, at designated KNEC marking facilities. A total of 234,473 examiners, including teachers who served as test supervisors, invigilators, center managers, and exam markers, were involved in monitoring this year’s national exams.
It’s worth noting that the Grade Six KPSEA exam marking process has already concluded, and the KCPE exams for this year have been released. The Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) had 1,282,574 candidates, while the KCPE had 1,415,315 students.
KPSEA applicants can anticipate receiving their results in the form of a certificate from their schools in January. The educational community eagerly awaits the imminent release of the KCSE 2023 results, marking the culmination of this academic evaluation cycle.
