Members of Parliament (MPs) conduct oversight on the execution of projects in public universities

The MP emphasized the importance of these visits in providing valuable insights for the Committee’s future discussions with the Ministry and the State Department for Higher Education, particularly regarding the funding of stalled projects and those nearing completion.

Melly highlighted the significance of physically inspecting the construction works on the projects during these visits, emphasizing the practical aspect of assessing progress and challenges firsthand.

Additionally, university management shared data on student admissions and discussed challenges they were facing with fee payments under the new funding model, providing important context for understanding the current situation in higher education institutions.
