The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is set to post 8,707 newly recruited teachers to schools across the country in February 2025. This recruitment replaces teachers who exited the service through natural attrition, such as retirement, resignation, or death.

Marks Allocation and Merit List

TSC has implemented a merit-based selection process, awarding:

  • 30 marks to teachers under TSC internship terms.
  • 5 marks to PTE certificate holders upgraded to UDPTE.

Once verification is complete, the TSC Sub-County Director will compile a Merit List of verified applicants. The Merit Lists will be accessible to the public upon request, adhering to the Data Protection Act, 2019.
