Kilgoris MP Julius Sunkuli Transforms Education with NG-CDF Projects

Kilgoris Member of Parliament Julius Sunkuli is driving transformative development initiatives across his constituency, leveraging the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) to enhance schools and uplift local communities.

The NG-CDF is playing a pivotal role in revolutionizing Trans Mara’s educational landscape by funding the construction of modern classrooms, replacing outdated structures made of iron sheets and mud with permanent, high-quality facilities.

During his development tour in Keyian Ward, Trans Mara West, Sunkuli underscored the significance of NG-CDF in improving educational infrastructure and ensuring a conducive learning environment for students.

As part of these efforts, two newly built classrooms at Enchurai Primary School and a comprehensive renovation of Kiikat Primary School were officially commissioned. Sunkuli emphasized the importance of both new developments and the refurbishment of older facilities to achieve holistic progress.

“Our work is far from over. We remain committed to completing ongoing projects and initiating new ones to bring lasting benefits to our communities,” stated Sunkuli.

These initiatives, forming part of the 2023/2024 financial year development agenda, are already yielding significant positive outcomes, providing students with better learning conditions.

John Tawuo, PTA Chairman at Enchurai Primary School, expressed immense appreciation for the newly constructed classrooms and renovations, highlighting the profound impact of NG-CDF in transforming the school.

Echoing these sentiments, local resident Rose Munka shared how previous learning conditions were substandard, with classrooms made from mud and iron sheets.

“We are overjoyed to see our children learning in modern classrooms that provide a safe and comfortable environment,” said Munka.

Gidion Sakwa, the head teacher at Enchurai Primary School, commended MP Sunkuli for his visionary leadership, encouraging other leaders to follow his example.

“He is a leader worth emulating,” remarked Sakwa.

Meanwhile, parents and community members are calling on other leaders to adopt similar community-driven development approaches that can foster long-lasting progress and transformation.
