KEMI declares nationwide training program to enhance capacity for Junior Secondary School (JSS) principals.

Grace Ngaca, the Director of Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI), has announced the organization of capacity-building workshops for head teachers of Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) in the country.

The training program is scheduled to take place from February 26 to March 16, 2024, and will cover head teachers from all 47 counties.

In a circular released by KEMI, it was mentioned that participants would receive monetary support directly, and there would be consultation with local Kenya Primary School Heads Association (KEPSHA) leadership for meal arrangements. The circular also suggests that the meal arrangements be coordinated by KEPSHA leadership within the training venues through individual contributions to ensure the smooth progress of the sessions.
